台北市長柯文哲今出席里長座談會，針對台北市違建情形表示，「這個國家到處都是違建，無法理解」，並說從現在開始，有新違建「絕對給你死」。
台北市長柯文哲百日新政，最顯著也讓人民有感的一項，就是二二六戶違建限時內全拆，今天在與里長的座談會上，柯文哲聽取台北市建管處長高文婷的報告後，當場下令要求建管處將怎麼處理新違建的SOP寫上來專案討論。他說，不可以讓違建一直蓋，「長期下去，政府完全沒有尊嚴」。以後台北市不允許，再出現新的違建。
